Just as a reminder--There are no "hidden costs" in Miss Olivia's Ballet. We use simple embellishments for our leotards for the recital so that we don't have to order expensive costumes. All that is needed for the class is a leotard, tights and ballet shoes.

RECITAL November 13 at 5pm

$100 for nine classes and a recital

($50 for the shorter 2-4s class)

History

Miss Olivia's Ballet began in 1997 while I was at Covenant College. When I graduated and went away to China, I promised that I would start teaching ballet again when my own daughter was ready to take. I taught a few semesters before that time, but Miss Olivia's ballet really began again in earnest in 2007 when my oldest was 4. 13 semesters and 5 ballet camps later, we're still going strong! This semester I'm teaching about 32 little girls. Over the years, we've danced to everything from Songs for Saplings and Sara Groves to music from Tangled. Lately we have begun to study the ballets--from well known ballets like Swan Lake to the lesser known whimsical Beatrix Potter Ballet and everything in between! I've enjoyed every single little girl I've ever taught (really!) and rejoice that many of my girls have gone on to enjoy more advanced ballet with the ballet companies in the area.
